Two exhibitions, two locations, one concept, one narrative…a detective mystery as curatorial project
Three Weeks in November is based on a narrative occupying more than one site; playing between real and fictional spaces whilst exploring the representation of fleeting and involuntary memories evoked by place.
The project, as a starting point, is a dialogue between two artist-curators, John O’Hare and Pippa Koszerek. Considering what constitutes a disused site they have both chosen spaces in their respective environments that offer very different perspectives on in-between spaces. The site in Liverpool being a derelict space and the site in Wimbledon a cut-off (dead end) bridge in a private residential area; for Three Weeks in November both sites will provide a dramatic back-drop for a narrative compiled from the contributions of the participating artists.
A commemorative event-preview will take place on Saturday 1 November, from 6.30-8.30pm.
Evening tours of the house will be available on Thursday 6 and Thursday 20 November between 6.30 and 8.30 pm booking will be required for these.
The Wimbledon tour will take place mid-way through the exhibition on the 15 and 16 November starting from South Wimbledon tube station.
